THE EVENT

The 2012 Summer Olympics, formally the Games of the XXX Olympiad and commonly known as London 2012, was an international multi-sport event that was held from 27 July to 12 August 2012 in London, United Kingdom.

London became the first city to host the modern Olympics three times, having previously hosted the Summer Games in 1908 and in 1948.

Construction for the Games involved considerable redevelopment, with an emphasis on sustainability. The main focus was a new 200-hectare (490-acre) Olympic Park, constructed on a former industrial site at Stratford, East London. The Games also made use of venues that already existed before the bid.

The Games received general praise for their organisation, with the volunteers, the British military and public enthusiasm praised particularly highly. The opening ceremony, directed by Danny Boyle, received widespread acclaim throughout the world.

THE EVENT

Diriyah Oasis is a funfair-type attraction in the heart of Diriyah. Split into four zones — Nature, Imagination, Reflection and Excitement. colossal area features new attractions, old favourites and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.

Spread over an area of 155,000 square meters and built in only 52 days, Diriyah Oasis infused the district’s distinct cultural aesthetics and original Najdi structures with contemporary architecture and state-of-the-art technologies to effectively integrate art with community engagement.

Part of the Diriyah Season the Oasis was the entrance to events such including Formula E,  World Class Tennis , Equestrian Events and the Clash On The Dunes – the first-ever World Heavyweight Title fight in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,featuring Andy ‘The Destroyer’ Ruiz Jr, and Anthony ‘AJ’ Joshua, the 2012 Olympics gold medallist, go head – to – head in a revenge clash of epic proportions.

THE EVENT

The Coronation Festival, was an event staged in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace to mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation.

The four-day event saw 60,000 visitors tour the Gardens of Buckingham Palace in incredible British summer weather, as they enjoyed a unique showcase of British innovation, excellence and industry of the past 60 years, in a celebration of the very best of UK PLC.

The Festival began with a Royal Preview on attended by Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and other members of the Royal Family.

The BBC also confirmed an average of 3.1 million viewers watched the live broadcast of the Gala from the Palaces West Terrace

The event was the first occasion of this scale to see so many Royal Warrant holders come together to showcase their products, services and skills to the world.

THE EVENT

The Ideal Home Show (formerly called the Ideal Home Exhibition) is an annual event held at Olympia, London.

The show was devised in 1908 and continued to be run by the Daily Mail up until 2009. It was then sold to events and publishing company Media 10.

Its goal is to bring together everything associated with having an "ideal home", such as the latest inventions for the modern house, and to showcase the latest housing designs.

The first exhibition was held in 1908 at the Olympia exhibition centre, with sections dedicated to "phases of home life" such as construction, food and cookery, furniture and decoration. It is often visited by celebrities and royalty as well as an average of 230,000 visitors throughout its 18 day duration.

The shows seven zones, multiple Celebrity Chef restaurants and shopping areas are guaranteed to keep you entertained.
